CARBONEAR, Nfld. — The Stone Jug — a live-music venue and historic restaurant in Carbonear, Nfld. — is up for sale and accepts three leading cryptocurrencies as payment.
Priced at US$5.5-million, the owner says it will accept Bitcoin, Etherium and Ripple, as well as 28 fiat currencies. The venue is listed on the real-estate site Propy.
The building includes a well-established bar, restaurant, a third-storey theatre and a conference room. Built in 1860, the first floor seats more than 75 guests and the second floor seats 185 guests. The theatre and conference room can accommodate 110 for weddings, conferences and live performances.
