LOV to Open in Toronto

TORONTO — Montreal-based plant-based chain LOV is set to open its first location in Toronto in September. The new location will be the brand’s fifth, as well as its first outside of Quebec.

The restaurant, located at King and Bathurst, will be a bright space offering refreshing twist on plant-based dishes focused on freshness and flavour. The concept is a fast-fine-dining experience that combines culinary excellence and elegance with affordable pricing and quick service.

LOV’s founder, Dominic Bujold and his team of executive chefs use a collaborative approach to create a menu that features top-quality ingredients “that allow guests to nourish their heart, soul and the planet.” The brand also offers an organic wine list and an array of original cocktails.

“More and more people are looking to plant-based alternatives and with that, they feel like they have to compromise on taste,” says Bujold. “At LOV, we’re not telling you to eat this because it’s plant-based, we’re telling you to eat this because it’s a delicious, memorable meal that just so happens to tread lightly on the planet.”
