Mac’s Introduces Health Check Entrées

VANCOUVER — The Heart and Stroke Foundation has given its Health Check approval to three Mac’s Convenience Store entrées in grab-and-go packages.

“Being able to provide these healthy and tasty options at our stores is very exciting,” says Kelly McGuire, vice-president, Operations, Western Canada, Mac’s Convenience Stores.

“We’re pleased to offer healthy convenient ready-to-eat foods as another option for busy families.”

Richmond, B.C.-based Mava Foods will supply the Heart and Stroke Foundation Health Check entrées, which include Szechuan Beef with Vegetables and Rice; Hearty Alberta Beef Stew; and Curry Vegetable Stew with Tofu and Rice.

The new entrées are available at Mac’s 57 B.C. locations
