MAFSI Recognizes Two Canadians

ATLANTA – Two Canadians have been recognized by the Manufacturers’s Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry (MAFSI).

Danny Collis, president of the Collis Group in Richmond Hill, Ont. was voted as treasurer of the association. He joins president: John Hoskinson of E. Ruff & Associates, Inc. and vice-president: Michael Turetzky, Chernoff Sales, Inc.

MAFSI also recognized Neville Jeens of the Mississauga, Ont.-based W.D. Colledge Co. Ltd. with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Jeens was 2002 MAFSI president who was instrumental in the establishment and growth of the Canadian chapter of MAFSI in 1995. He is currently retired.

Other inductees included Terry Hoelle, from Structural Concepts, and Robin Ashton from Foodservice Equipment Reports.

The Bill H. Loveless Chapter of the Year award was also presented to MAFSI Region 3 – New York Metro. The award is named in honour of Bill Loveless, who passed away in November 2002, but whose devotion to MAFSI is legendary.
