MAFSI Welcomes New President

ATLANTA — Danny Collis of the Collis Group, Inc. in Richmond Hill, Ont., has been elected the 56th president of MAFSI, the Manufacturers’s Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry.

“Collis was elected by the membership to serve as the 2012 president of the association and the chairman of the Board of Directors and executive committee,” reads a statement.

Collis has represented Region 26 – Canada on the MAFSI national Board of Directors for seven years; he was chairperson of the 2009 MAFSI Annual Conference and education committee. Collis serves as the president of his sales and marketing firm, Collis Group, Inc.

MAFSI is 63-year-old non-profit trade association comprised of 275 independent manufacturers’s representative agencies in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, which are engaged in the sales and marketing of commercial foodservice equipment, supplies, tabletop and furnishings.
