VEVEY, Switzerland — Nestle Professional has announced a new brand to its line-up of Canadian offerings. Called Maggi, it includes a collection of bouillons, seasonings, soups and recipe mixes available to Canadian professionals.
Jordanna Britt, corporate chef of Nestle Professional is excited to see the changes evolving at Nestle. “Operators will appreciate the superior flavour and innovative products the Maggi brand brings to kitchens. Having worked with these products in the past, I find they’re easy to use, flavourful and add a special twist to my cooking,” said Britt.
The Trio brand sauces, gravies and soups transitioned to the Maggi brand, beginning first with Trio by Maggi hollandaise sauce. Actual recipes and order codes will remain the same for now, allowing Nestle Professional to leverage the global experience and unique product offerings held by Maggi.
The Maggi product line was founded 120 years ago by Julius Maggi.
