TORONTO — Mandarin Restaurant has elected to halt all dine-in services due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a letter posted to the company’s social-media accounts, James Chiu, president of Mandarin says the restaurant will be suspending buffet and dine-in services at all 29 locations effective March 16.
“With close to 20,000 guests visiting Mandarin locations daily and the evolving public-health advice regarding mass gatherings, we’re closing our buffet and dine-in service in an abundance of caution,” says Chiu.
Although the chain’s dine-in experience will be suspended, the restaurant still plans on offering takeout-and-delivery options for customers until further notice.
