VANCOUVER — Nathan Gilmore is set to manage the soon-to-open Bel Café, located adjacent to Hawksworth Restaurant in Vancouver.
Gilmore brings leadership experience from previous management roles at places such as Starbucks Coffee and Café Crepe.
Passionate about internal development, Gilmore plans to raise the profile of the café as a hot spot for coffee in the city. “By providing a truly equal focus on all aspects of the café experience, Bel Café will strive to elevate the coffee scene in Vancouver,” he said.
The full-service café, based in the city’s business and shopping district, will offer specialty coffee custom-roasted, plus ready-to-go items such as fresh-baked pastries, gourmet sandwiches, soups and tarts. Besides coffee, the café will also offers artisan teas, fresh juices, cocktails and wines.
The new eatery is expected open before the end of the month.
