MISS., Ont. – Extreme Brands, operator of 256 Extreme Pita, Mucho Burrito and Pureblendz concepts in Canada and the U.S., has named Mark Cunningham as its new executive vice-president, International Operations and Business Development.
Cunningham — who has 25+ years of foodservice experience at brands like McDonald’s and Second Cup — is charged with the international development of the Extreme Brandz concepts, reporting directly to president and CEO, Alex Rechichi.
“International markets offer attractive demographics for Extreme Brandz, with young, affluent, increasingly well-educated and aspirational consumers looking for new products and experiences,“ Cunningham said in a press release.
While at Second Cup, Cunningham helped lead the chain’s expansion into Dubai, UAE and 10 other international markets.
