ENGLEWOOD, Fla. — The first U.S. location of Mary Brown’s has opened in Englewood, Fla., reports The Telegram.

Newfoundland natives, Paul Shelley and Kathy Goudie, opened the 60-seat franchise in late April. The location is only one of three units to feature the brand’s diner concept. The diner concept offers a more diverse menu than a standard Mary Brown’s location, including items such as pea soup, fish and chips using Atlantic cod, baked beans and seafood chowder.

Greg Roberts, CEO and owner of Mary Brown’s, plans to introduce more Florida locations and is said to be eyeing plans for a cluster of locations between St. Pete’s and Sarasota.
