OAK BROOK, Ill. — McDonald’s top boss hasn’t ruled out extending breakfast hours to all day in various markets, according to CNBC.
In an interview with CNBC, Don Thompson, president and CEO of McDonald’s Corporation spoke about the possibility of expanding breakfast hours. He said: “Yes, we would consider it. We have the focus on our existing menu, but we have looked at breakfast across the day. We have it in some markets around the world.”
Thompson said he is also considering adding more delivery services in the U.S. and other countries. “Delivery is a big, big opportunity, particularly in areas where you don’st have drive-thrus,” he added.
The exec also said mobile payments will be another focus, with many restaurants in a testing phase. [cnbc.com]
