ORLANDO — Three McDonald’s employees have been selected by a panel of judges to compete for a $25,000 prize, Lady Gaga tickets, a Macbook and the Voice of McDonald’s award.

The finalists have travelled the world, been treated to impromptu performances by judge and Grammy-award winning singer Richard Marx and survived a week-long “music bootcamp.” The talented employees — Davao Del Sur from the Phillipines, Jin Hur from South Korea and Jesus Molinares from Peru — will compete for the top prize April 22.

Voice of McDonald’s is an international contest designed to recognize and reward the most talented singers among McDonald’s 1.6 million restaurant employees. About 10,400 employees entered the third edition of the competition.
