EDMONTON — Edmonton has become the first market in the country to roll out McDonald’s Canada’s new modernized guest experience — Create Your Taste.
“With the introduction of our new guest experience and Create-Your-Taste burger concept, we’re thrilled our Edmonton restaurants were selected to evolve McDonald’s bold new brand transformation,” said Shelly Hansen, Regional VP, Western Canada. “Edmonton was the natural choice as it’s a market with one of the highest proportion of re-imaged restaurants and our local franchisees were excited to step forward for the opportunity.”
The restaurants will feature self-order kiosks that enable guests to order from the new customizable burger menu with nearly 30 options — including five types of cheese, 12 toppings, two buns, a lettuce wrap and nine sauces.
The new restaurant concepts are expected to create at least 150 new positions across the 11 Edmonton-area restaurants.
