OAK BROOK, Ill. — McDonald’s is reportedly ending its 40-year relationship with Heinz ketchup.
“As a result of recent management changes at Heinz, we have decided to transition our business to other suppliers over time,” a McDonald’s statement reads, according to Reuters.
Heinz is now led by Bernardo Hees, the former chief executive of Burger King. It’s unclear which ketchup supplier the company will use in place of Heinz.
