LOS ANGELES — Menchie’s has claimed status as the largest self-serve frozen yogurt franchise in the world, with more than 185 stores open and an additional 400 under development.

The Menchie’s team opens an average of 10 stores per month and expects to open 300 by the end of 2012. This year, openings are planned in England, France, India, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, China and more.
