CANMORE, Alta. — Metropolitan Hotels is offering guests the chance to preview its newest hotel — the Grande Rockies Resort, in Canmore, Alta. — this ski season ahead of its grand opening this spring.
Rooms will be available on a limited basis, starting Dec. 11 with rates starting at $215 per night.
“We are the first luxury hotel brand to open its doors in Canmore and we’re very excited to offer this sneak-peek opportunity,” Henry Wu, president of Metropolitan Hotels said. “We don’t want to wait any longer before we give guests a glimpse of what is to come upon completion of the Grande Rockies Resort.”
Located at the gateway to Banff National Park and the majestic Canadian Rockies, the 150-room hotel will feature one bedroom, two bedroom and penthouse suites with state-of-the-art technologies. Suites will have fully-equipped kitchens, spa-inspired bathrooms, designer decor and eco-friendly amenities. Warmly appointed with a comfortable, yet urban flare, guestrooms will include plasma televisions, gas fireplaces and down duvets with Italian-Fretté linens.
Once Grande Rockies Resort opens, Metropolitan Hotels will operate four luxury properties: Metropolitan Toronto, the Soho Metropolitan, the Grande Rockies Resort and the Metropolitan Vancouver.
