MONTREAL — Just four months after its official launch, MiumMium now has 10,000 registered chefs registered for its online platform. MiumMium, the largest online community marketplace for chefs in the world, is a free service connecting customers and personal chefs.

“We are proud to see that our mission of shaking up the at-home dining experience is swiftly resonating with the culinary community,” says chef Chloe St-Cyr, founder of MiumMium.

MiumMium allows customers to choose from 2,700 different menus. The chef does the shopping, cooking, cleaning and might give culinary lessons along the way. They also set their own prices, which start as low as $20 per person.

“We launched MiumMium to provide food lovers with a custom, stress-free and accessible way to dine that is more exciting than eating in a restaurant,” says St-Cyr. “We are pleased to see that a MiumMium meal is, on average, 30 per cent less expensive than a similar meal at the restaurant. For chefs, we wanted to create an opportunity for them to have control over their careers — making dishes they are passionate about on their own time — so it’s exciting to see that so many have embraced the concept.”
