TORONTO — Mixologist Moses McIntee is preparing to open Lucid Cocktail and Kitchen restaurant in Toronto.

The restaurant was inspired by McIntee’s trip to France. “I really wanted to bring that notion back to Toronto, to sell the same artisanal cocktails I’sve been selling over the years and adding a little molecular flair and table-side service,” McIntee was quoted as saying on postcity.com.

McIntee perfected his skills at notable Toronto restaurants, including Ame, Nota Bene, Spoke Club and Toca at the Ritz-Carlton.

Classic cocktails will be served till 2 am, complemented by a Mediterranean-inspired menu from executive chef Robert Richardson.

The new resto is set to open at 571 Queen St. W. on Jan. 20.
