CALGARY — Avenue magazine has released the 11th edition of its Best Restaurants list, naming Model Milk as the number-1 restaurant in Calgary.
“The transformation from a former dairy and one-time disco to a restaurant receiving national attention and accolades is reflected in the ever-evolving menu and drinks list that has solidified its place as a top spot in Calgary’s dining scene,” reads a review of the restaurant.
The remaining nine restaurants, in order, are Teatro, Rouge, Blink, Alloy, Notable, Chef’s Table, River Café, Brava Bistro and Cassis Bistro. The lifestyle magazine has also released other “best-of” lists, including its Best Chefs list, identifying Model Milk’s Justin Leboe, Cassis Bistro’s Dominique Moussu, Teatro’s John Michael Macneil as well as Charcut Roast House’s Connie DeSousa and John Jackson as the city’s top toques.
