TORONTO — A Toronto version of the New York-based Momofuku Milk Bar bakery has opened on the second floor of the Momofuku Toronto restaurant on University Avenue.

“Today is the day! Milk Bar #Toronto opens at 11:30 a.m. at 190 University Ave.! Find us on the second floor!” reads a tweet from Momofuku Milk Bar in New York.

The bakery is a 12.5-ft. by 6-ft. space that doesn’t offer behind-the-counter help. Instead, customers choose their goods as they would in a grocery store. The baked goods for offer include salty-meets-sweet pretzels, potato chips, butterscotch chips, graham crackers, cookies (cornflake cookie anyone?), ground coffee and more.

The first Milk Bar was opened by Christina Tosi in New York five years ago. Now there are three locations in the U.S. city. Toronto is the bakery’s first international location.
