MONTREAL — The 18th annual Mondial de la Bière Montreal beer festival is set to hit the city.

The event, held between June 8 and 12 at Place Bonaventure, is described as a “unique tasting event dedicated to the reinstatement of beer’s noble status. Founded in 1994, the Mondial de la bière is considered a gateway to the Québec and foreign beer industry.”

This year’s festival will include the show’s signature professional ConferenceMBeer, which features beer experts from around the world. Visitors can also watch Greg Noonan’s MBeer contest, where brewmasters will be awarded medals. The festival also features seminars, an opening housewarming party, a poolside Happy Hour at the Hilton Bonaventure Hotel, a music competition, a wine and beer workshop and more.

Exhibitors will also be on hand to showcase more than 650 products and 609 beers from breweries worldwide — 26 from Quebec, alone.
