VANCOUVER – While breakfast is often deemed critical, the most important meal served in Toronto November 1 could be the Porridge for Parkinson’s breakfast to be held at 93 Highland Avenue at 10am.

Organizers of the Vancouver-based international fundraiser recently announced that Fashion Television’s Jeanne Beker and Andy Barrie of CBC Radio One, 99.1 will work the microphones, while guests savour delectable breakfast treats, created by some of the city’s most celebrated culinary minds, at the upcoming Toronto event.

On tap to provide their top of the morning creations will be: Donna Dooher of Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, Jamie Kennedy of Jamie Kennedy Kitchens and Gilead Café, Joanne Youles of Scaramouche and Martin Kouprie of Pangea. What’s more, CTV weather anchor Michelle Leslie, Global News weather anchor Bill Coulter and Robert Fisher of CBC Radio One, 99.1 will be on hand to greet guests.

Guests are also invited to participate in a breakfast-themed silent auction with prizes, like B&B stays, trips to the Caribbean, Breakfast Bling and much more. Tickets for the event are $100. For more details, click here.
