MONTREAL — Despite earlier reports regarding the pending acquisition, MTY Food Group Inc., franchisor and operator of 1,741 quick-service restaurants across Canada, has announced the transaction between its wholly-owned subsidiary MTY Tiki Ming Enterprises Inc. and 9193-9298 Quebec Inc. (“Sushi-Taxi”), Sushi-Taxi Maître Franchiseur Inc. and 9182-7386 Quebec Inc. is cancelled.
