MONTREAL — MTY Food Group Inc. has completed its acquisition of 80 per cent of the assets of Houston Avenue Bar & Grill and Industria Pizzeria + Bar through a newly created subsidiary.
The announcement follows only a week after news that MTY had signed an agreement pursuant to the acquisition.
Raimondo Messina, Antonino Messina and Roger Francis — the former owners of Houston and Industria — will own the remaining 20 per cent of the new subsidiary and will continue to lead the two brands, operating out of MTY headquarters in St-Laurent, Que.
