TORONTO — MTY Food Group Inc. has capitalized on its banner of 27 brands, opening its own food court at Yonge Street and King Street in Toronto.
“We are always looking for new opportunities to expand our concepts, therefore, it makes sense to team up a few of our MTY brands and create our very own food court,” said Stanley Ma, president and CEO of the Quebec-based company.
“We are all very excited about 7 King Court and look forward to building more MTY Food Courts in the future.”
Dubbed 7 King Court, the new space houses six MTY Brands — Mr. Sub, Country Style, Thai Express, Villa Madina, Tiki-Ming and Sushi Shop — in a 100-seat high-ceilinged, brightly-light area outside the King subway station.
Grand opening celebrations will continue throughout the month with promotions and prizes.
