TORONTO — Ben Mulroney got a taste of a new burger in town, as he had a patty named in his honour at The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro, which is set to open on Toronto’s Danforth this spring.

As part of the Ottawa burger company’s pre-opening celebrations, some of the 70 burgers on the menu are named after local celebrities. In this case, the eTalk host named his burger the Benny Piggenbeef; it’s filled with caramelized onions, barbecue sauce, jack cheese and bacon.

Meanwhile, the chain, which is undergoing national expansion, is holding a job fair from April 16 to 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the new Toronto location at 888 Danforth Avenue.
