TORONTO — The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro is set to open in 50 additional locations across Canada, thanks to the success of its new Ontario stores in London, Kingston, Ottawa, Guelph and Oakville.
Founded in Ottawa in 2001, the full-service bistro is known for its 68 gourmet burgers combos, fresh-cut fries, classic shakes and beer.
“The success of each new location, along with the success of our franchisees has further enhanced our assessment of The Works’ prospects for growth. Accordingly, we have decided to accelerate our expansion program to add more locations throughout Canada,” said Andy O’Brien, CEO.
Meanwhile, three new sites are currently under construction in Toronto, Waterloo and Peterborough.
