SURREY, B.C. — Canada’s first Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip and 101th system location has opened at the Guildford Town Centre in Surrey, B.C.
The Texas-based cafés offers gourmet desserts, including a selection of bakery goods such as macaroons, cupcakes and brownies as well as frozen ice-cream treats, premium coffee drinks, frozen yogurt and smoothies.
According to the SurreyLeader.com, Ziad Dalal, founder and president of the café, expects to open more than 10 sites in the Vancouver area during the next three to five years as well as some 25 locations throughout Canada. A second Vancouver franchise is expected to open soon.
