New ACF Apprenticeship Training Program Offered


ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Canadian chef members of the St Augustine, Fla.-based American Culinary Federation (ACF) can now access the latest series of the National Apprenticeship Training Program for Cooks (and its accompanying CD ROM).

The series outlines culinary techniques that have been validated by the culinary industry and sanctioned by the U.S. Department of Labor, the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation and the National Apprenticeship Committee.

The 10-module program, published by American Technical Publishers (ATP), costs US$25 each, with a 25-per-cent discount with purchases of five or more. A compiled textbook, containing content from each of the modules, is available for US$80.
