NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. — The next instalment of the Niagara Falls, Ont.-based Pop-up Dinner Series will take place July 19 at the Legends on the Niagara golf Complex.
Led by Niagara Parks, the Pop-up Dinner Series was created to showcase local products and ingredients from the area, as well as highlight the city’s past, present and future. From the historic events that took place on the Chippawa Battlefield to future environmental issues that will affect the Niagara Falls community, guests will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics.
Guests will be treated to a variety of offerings, including local craft beers and VQA wine, as well as dishes such as a smoked-duck ravioli from Toronto-based Queen’s Pasta and summer-squash ratatouille. There will also be a grilling station serving herb-crusted Ontario veal clod and artisanal grilled-apple and sage-pork sausage.
Guests will also have a chance to enjoy a Great Lakes fish station, which will feature Kolipore Springs arctic char and Georgian Bay rainbow trout ceviche cocktail.
