TORONTO — Chef Patrick Kriss and the Alo team have launched a casual spinoff of the popular Toronto fine-dining restaurant.
Located on the ground level of the same building that houses Alo, Aloette boasts a modern diner atmosphere and a no-reservations policy.
The restaurant’s menu offers simpler food that is more accessible and budget friendly than its fine-dining sister — with no overlapping offerings. Featured dishes include an iceberg wedge salad, beef tartare, Hamachi tartare and a burger.
Aloette offers lunch and dinner service throughout the week and dinner only on Saturdays.
