TORONTO — Bacchanal has opened in Toronto’s West Queen West neighbourhood in the space that formerly housed Recess Diner.
Helmed by executive chef Luke Donato, the restaurant focuses on “neo-French” cuisine as well as cocktails and a selection of more than 25 wines by the glass. It also boasts a pastry program led by pastry chef Cori (Murphy) Osborne — formerly of Lavelle and Alo.
The redesigned space features elements of industrial and mid-century modern design, including brass accents and leather banquettes.
