TORONTO — King Taps has opened in Toronto’s Financial District, taking over the space that previously housed Vertical restaurant.
The craft-beer-focused restaurant boasts two floors, each with its own patio and bar.
The menu features pizzas, small plates and a variety of sandwiches, as well as items such as the Saladita Surf Bowl featuring tomatillo-braised chicken, heirloom toybox tomatoes, Mexican rice, pickled onions and avocado ($16); a salmon and prawn risotto with mushrooms, summer onions, chives and grana padano ($26); and a Dulce & Peanut Sundae with salted brittle ($8).
King Taps offers more than 60 beers and ciders on tap, including exclusive collaborations with Rainhard Brewing, Creemore Springs, Muskoka Brewery and Batch.
