TORONTO — Canada’s New York Fries franchise is expanding into Turkey, with the announcement of two new locations in Istanbul, which will add to the company’s international growth plans in the Middle East and Asia.
The new units will be run by the ARDAQ Group Company, which is the exclusive licensee of New York Fries in Turkey.
“We are very excited to announce another international market opening up for New York Fries, especially in such a great city like Istanbul,” said Jay Gould, president of New York Fries and South St. Burger Co. “We’re looking forward to opening our two stores in Turkey and introducing New York Fries to a whole new group of consumers.”
The first store will open in August in Turkey’s Brandium Mall food court and the second will open in Marmara Forum’s food court in late September.
Meanwhile, New York Fries expanded into China in December, and new locations are planned for China and Hong Kong in the fall.
