LONDON, Ont. — Odd Burger has launched its franchising operations in the U.S. The company has formed a Delaware corporation that will serve as the franchisor and operator of its U.S. franchise division.

Soon, Odd Burger U.S. intends to begin offering and selling franchises in 25 states. Additionally, Odd Burger U.S. intends to begin the process of filing its franchise offering with other states where filings are required to be completed prior to any offers or sales. The process is expected to be completed by the end of November 2022.  The company is also developing area-representative and area-development programs for the U.S. market to accelerate its growth.

“We could not be more excited to initiate our U.S. expansion and extend our brand to millions of people in the U.S. market,” says James McInnes, co-founder and CEO of Odd Burger. “We have already received hundreds of inquiries from potential franchisees in the U.S. and now we will begin the process of finding the perfect franchise partners to work with.”

In Canada, Odd Burger recently signed a franchise agreement for a location in Nanaimo, B.C. with franchisees Drihant Isamaliya and Kamalpreet Kamalpreet. The restaurant is slated to open in 2023.
