TORONTO — Odd Burger Corporation, one of the world’s first vegan fast-food chains, announced it will open two new locations in Brampton and Whitby, Ont. in early 2022, bringing its total number of restaurants to 10.
Last month, Odd Burger signed a franchise agreement for Calgary, Alta., and is actively seeking a location. Its Broadview location in Toronto is also projected to open in early 2022. In addition to these 10 sites, the company is in active negotiations for locations in Manhattan, N.Y. as part of its U.S. expansion.
“Meeting our expansion goals is not only about building our company and brand, but also a pathway to transforming fast food into a healthier, more sustainable industry,” says James McInnes, co-founder and CEO, Odd Burger. “As we grow, we’re making it easy and affordable for people to access fast food that’s better for our planet and our bodies.”
