TORONTO — In anticipation of the spring 2016 opening of its Calgary-based restaurant, The Guild, the team at Oliver & Bonacini has announced two dinner events in Toronto highlighting the flavours and ingredients of Alberta.
Beers and Steers will take place May 6 at Toronto’s Jump restaurant with chefs Luke Kennedy and Ryan O’Flynn. The $80 four-course menu will include Big Rock Brewery beer pairings. Ryan O’Flynn was crowned the 2015 Canadian Culinary Champion and will take the lead as executive chef at The Guild.
The Calgary at Canoe dinner on May 7 will feature a $120 five-course tasting menu with creations from chefs Justin Leboe, Anthony Walsh, John Horne, Coulson Armstrong and Ryan O’Flynn.
