TORONTO — Louis Nemes, the famous Louis behind the St. Louis Bar and Grill success story, was recently profiled in the Toronto Star, along with his son-in law, Brent Poulton, who bought the business from the namesake founder. While the profile largely focuses on Nemes’ own rags-to-riches story — he emigrated from a Soviet oppressed Hungary in 1956, arriving in Toronto with $1.70 — it goes on to mention some significant growth plans for the popular Ontario eatery, including a move north to Sudbury and beyond.
