The winning breweries were announced during a May 11 ceremony at the Dominion on Queen pub in Toronto. The lucky lagers were picked from a batch of 135 beers from 24 breweries across the province, and were evaluated by a team of Beer Judge Certification Program judges.
Brick Brewery’s Red Baron received a gold medal in the North American Light Lager category, Labatt Breweries of Canada was recognized for its Bud Light beer, and Mill Street Brewery was lauded for its Franconian Bock.
