MONTREAL — Le Cathcart Restaurants et Biergarten at Montreal’s Place Ville Marie (PVM) is set to open January 23.
The expansive 35,000-sq.-ft. food hall will feature a range of culinary offerings, including three full-service restaurants, nine food kiosks, two cafés with a total of 1,000 seats and a biergarten located under the PVM’s 7,000-sq.-ft. glass pavilion.
New collaborations have also been announced for the project, including Îlot 84 — the creative force behind the popular AIRE COMMUNE happy-hour format. The organization will help define Le Cathcart’s after-work offering, which will include culinary experiences, as well as live musical and artistic performances — the first of which will take place on opening night.
Le Cathcart will also become the official annual partner of Creative Mornings/Montreal, which will organize a series of conferences bringing together the city’s business and creative communities. The first conference will be held February 28, at 8 a.m., featuring speakers to be announced later this month.
In addition, XP_MTL and Groupe Sensation Mode will put together a series of artistic events and experiences focusing on various disciplines, such as art, design, fashion and dance.
