MONTREAL — The 25th edition of the Mondial de la bière international beer festival runs today until June 9 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal and its exterior terrace. An assortment of activities linked to beer will be presented, including guided tours, conferences and beer-and-food pairings.

The Mondial de la bière de Montréal is the oldest beer festival in Quebec and over the last 25 years, the event has been a major player in the evolution of the consumer’s taste for beer.

More than 140,000 visitors are expected at this year’s event, which features 650 different beers, ciders, spirits and meads — including 334 new beers never before offered at the festival. More than 100 breweries from 14 countries are represented — including 46 from Quebec — at the event’s 14 food pavilions.
