VANCOUVER — Taiwanese restaurant Din Tai Fung is slated to open this spring in Vancouver, marking its first foray into Canada. Already operating more than 170 locations across 14 countries, the brand is poised to bring its world-class dining experience to a new market.
Located at 1132 Alberni Street, the restaurant offers an extensive menu, including 27 vegetarian dishes and 22 vegan dishes. Speciality dishes include Shrimp & Kurobuta Pork Pot Stickers, Truffle & Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao and Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin. The signature cocktail menu includes a pear lychee martini, lychee mojito, yuzu margarita, cucumber gimlet and DTF old fashioned.
The restaurant is set to hire 300 workers as it gets ready for its opening, according to the Vancouver Sun.
