TORONTO — Toronto and area restaurant workers will be vying for honours at the Ontario Restaurant Hotel and Motel Association, (ORHMA) awards to be held at the Palais Royale Jan. 24.
The awards, which recognize those who have made significant contributions to the Toronto restaurant scene, will name a chef of the year, restaurateur of the year, supplier of the year as well as a favourite server and bartender.
Proceeds raised during the evening will go to establishing an endowment fund for students of the Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts at George Brown College.
Nominations may be made by industry professionals, restaurant operators, hotel operators and ORHMA associate members, until Dec. 15, online at torontorestaurantawards.ca.
