OTTAWA — Much like other chefs across the country, Ottawa chefs are gathering tomorrow, March 31, at the Brookstreet Hotel to prepare an inspired East meets West six-course dinner to raise money for Care Canada’s relief efforts in Japan.

“This year we look forward to…providing…another fantastic fundraising dinner event to support the people of Japan and those around the world who will be affected by this major natural disaster,” said participating chef Steven Gugelmeier of the Ottawa Marriott, who was part of a Haitian earthquake relief fundraiser last year.

Participating chefs, include Gugelmeier, Russell Weir of Sheraton Ottawa, Neil Mather of Holiday Inn and Suites Kanata, Scott Warrick of Algonquin College, Michael Durrer, CCFCC Ottawa president as well as Cliff Lyness and Kei Sakugawa of Brookstreet Hotel.

Tickets to the event, which includes a reception, dinner, live auction and entertainment, are $200. For more information, click here.
