TORONTO — Through its Dare to Care Program, Paramount Fine Foods has donated tens of thousands of meals to those in need since the beginning of the pandemic.
“The pandemic has highlighted the importance of community-support programs that help us care for one another,” says Mohamad Fakih, CEO of Paramount Fine Foods. “Something as simple as enjoying a meal can spark joy, celebration and gratitude within our community, which the Dare to Care program brings to light.”
Paramount kicked off its September campaign in partnership with The Hangout, a local youth-empowerment group. A free youth-empowerment event was held on September 4, where Paramount donated more than 200 meals to attendees.
“This program will impact a lot of people and help strengthen our resilient community,” says Fakih.
