Paul Bocuse Passes Away

LYON, France — Revered French chef, Paul Bocuse passed away on Jan. 20 at the age of 91.

Bocuse is heralded as the chef behind the Nouvelle Cuisine movement, as well as the founder of Bocuse d’Or — an international culinary competition, which launched in 1987. He also operated Paul Bocuse Restaurant — a three Michelin-star restaurant — and The Abbaye banquet hall in Lyon, France.

Chef Bocuse is survived by his wife Raymonde and children, Françoise and Jérôme.
