P.E.I. Restaurants Warned for Health Violations

CHARLOTTETOWN — The P.E.I. health department has handed out warnings at 12 eateries for health violations and expired licenses, according to CBC News.

Three restaurants were reported for health violations, including The Frosty Treat Dairy Bar in Kensington, for improper refrigerator temperature, Stanley Bridge Country Resort for improper food temperatures and Mussels and Bubbles in Cavendish for unsafe dishwashing practices.

The Health Department’s website notes all 12 businesses have corrected the problems.
