PARIS — The Penotti Cookie Notti won the SIAL Innovation Award in the Sweet Grocery Products category at the SIAL Show held this week in France.
The Cookie Notti speculoos spread is available in four flavours: Original, Crunchy, Cappuccino and Espresso and made using fine Arabica coffee beans and authentic Belgian caramelized butter cookies.
Cookie Notti was selected as the winner by the grand jury from a collection of 1,700 products presented. The SIAL Innovation Award celebrates the dynamism and creativity of food companies and is an indicator of global food trends.
The Canadian SIAL Show is scheduled for April 28 to 30 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto.
