Pita Pit Encourages Canadians to Keep Health Resolutions


KINGSTON, Ont. — Pita Pit Canada (PPC) has launched its 2014 Resolution Solution campaign, focusing on healthy, active lifestyles with in-store promotions and a new site.

“It is our goal to accommodate consumers who want to maintain a healthy lifestyle while still enjoying the convenience of dining out,” said Chris Fountain, CEO of Pita Pit.

The campaign showcases 10 health-conscious pita choices under 500 calories each. The brand has also launched a mobile-friendly site with tips, motivation, deals and prizes to encourage customers on their path to healthy living. It also invites fans to upload photos with a brief description of their New Year’s resolutions to the chain’s Facebook page.

PPC continues to expand in Canada, opening 34 new locations last year — the most in the company’s history. This year it plans to add 40 units.
