TEXAS — In a Valentine’s Day promotion, Pizza Hut is offering customers an engagement package that includes a ruby ring, limo service, flowers, a fireworks show, a photographer, a videographer and a $10 dinner box for $10,010.
“If we’re able to fit pizza, breadsticks and dessert into one box for only $10, why stop there?” Kurt Kane, CMO of Pizza Hut, was quoted as saying by Fox News.
“Our customers want the best of everything, from their food to memorable life experiences. So we decided to make one of those experiences — the marriage proposal — second-to-none and offer it at PizzaHut.com right alongside the new $10 Dinner Box.”
The dinner box includes a medium rectangular pan pizza with one topping, five breadsticks with marinara sauce and 10 cinnamon sticks with an icing cup in a box.
Ten packages are available, and, according to The Huffington Post, Pizza Hut has received hundreds of “serious inquires.”
The U.S. promotion ends Feb. 14.
